The Cavazza Residence is in the historical centre of Bologna in Via Arienti 8, within the inner ring road which follows the path of the historical city walls of which, today, only the gates have remained. Near our Residence there is “Porta Castiglione”, close to the public gardens “Margherita”. Other important attractions such as “le Due Torri” (the Two Towers), “Piazza Maggiore” (Main Square), “il Tribunale” (the Court) and all those making up the historical centre of Bologna are just a stroll away.

What to see and what to do:
Bologna has a variety of attractions – all depends on the reasons why you are staying in the city. You have the possibility of admiring the artistic beauty of the historical monuments – the museums, the squares, the churches – or you can plunge into the socio-cultural liveliness of the city. You can study in one of the world’s oldest universities or work in a city that offers many job opportunities due to its diversified industrial and commercial framework (e.g. Bologna has an important Trade Fair Centre which attracts numerous national and international exhibitors and visitors every year). Bologna is also well-known for its health centres (hospitals, clinics, etc.) whose quality and services are considered outstanding. The Cavazza Residence is strategically located in the middle of this multiplicity.
1 – The Cavazza Residence is situated within the historical city centre: you are just a stroll away from the most important tourist attractions such as monuments, churches and squares. And the same goes for the pubs, the restaurants, the taverns, the theatres, the cinemas and all those places that offer socio-cultural events, entertainment programs and everything else that Bologna is able to propose.
2- Easy commuting to the Trade Fair Centre: walk 100 metres from the Cavazza Residence to “Viale 12 Giugno” and take the bus line 39, get off the bus in “Piazza della Costituzione”, directly in the Trade District. For your return, take the bus line 38 opposite the bus stop where you arrived and get off in “Viale 12 Giugno” (the bus stop has the same name). Walk back a few metres, take the first left (Via Chiodare), hence the second right (Via Arienti).
3 – Easy commuting to all health centres: you only need 5/6 minutes to get to “Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli”, to “Villa Regina” and to “Ospedale Sant’Orsola”. Take the bus line 30 or “A” in “Viale 12 Giugno” to reach “Ospedale Rizzoli” and “Villa Regina”. For your return, take the same buses on the opposite side of the street, get off in “Viale12 Giugno”, walk back a few metres, take the first left (Via Chiodare), hence the second right (Via Arienti). From the bus stop “Porta Castiglione”, bus line 33, you can reach “Ospedale Sant’Orsola”, get off at the stop called as such. For your return, cross the “Viale”, take the bus line 32, get off at “Porta Castiglione”, walk along “Via Castiglione” towards the city centre, hence turn the second left into Via Arienti. It takes you about 20 minutes to reach “Ospedale Maggiore”: take the bus line 38 in “Viale 12 Giugno” and get off the bus in front of the Hospital. On your way back, take the bus line 39, get off the bus at the bus stop “12 Giugno”, walk back a few metres, take the first left (Via Chiodare), hence the second right (Via Arienti)
